Tuesday Tips- Sanitize That Gear (Hack)!

aaWell, it’s that time of the year again- pain is pouring, the old man is snoring… and your gear smells so bad it just might wake him up! This week we go over with you one of our equipment hacks to make sure your gloves are smelling fresh, even after they’ve been sitting in your rainy bag for weeks!

  1. Check your laundry machine to see if it has a sanitary cycle– this is meant for baby diapers. If it can clean up after a baby, you better believe it can clean up after you
  2. Wash gloves by themselves. This is super HOT water, so there is a high chance colors might bleed a little bit.
  3. Dry OUTSIDE or by air inside your home (don’t want to get them wet again!). The dryer can do some funky things to your gloves, so better to let them air dry.
  4. Stick some dryer sheets in your gloves before you put them in your bag for some extra freshness.
  5. Lax again without fear of smelling your glovesĀ on your hand for the next week!

Check back every Tuesday for more tips and tricks!
